
In order to make changes to your registration, you must act before the registration deadline for your selected test date. Changes can be made by calling ACT directly at 319-337-1270. Students may also make changes by logging on to their student Web account. When attempting to make changes, students must supply their admission ticket, test date, test center, and credit card number and expiration date.
There are a variety of changes that a student can request. A student may request to change a test center, but maintain the same test date. There is a fee of $20.50 for this change and the change will only be accepted if there is seating available at the test center.
A student may wish to change between the basic ACT and the ACT Plus Writing. Fees will be applied accordingly. For example, to add the writing feature would cost $14.50. If the test center would also need to be changed to accommodate the addition of the Writing test then an additional $20.50 fee would be added. Students can request this change before being admitted into the test center on the day of the test. The request will be honored if the center can accommodate it. ACT will be notified and the fee will be assessed accordingly.
Students may request a change of their test date for a fee of $20.50. There will be an additional fee of $19.00 if the request is made after the regular registration deadline.
